Cookies Policy

What cookies are, how this website uses them, and how you can control them.

Effective 18 June 2026

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They are widely used to make sites work, to keep them secure, and to remember preferences. Some cookies last only for your visit and some stay until they expire or you clear them.

How we use cookies

We keep cookies to a minimum. This website uses only the cookies it needs to function and stay secure. We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party tracking, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

The private admin area we use to run the site sets a secure sign-in cookie. That only applies to us, not to visitors browsing the public site.

The cookies we use

  • Strictly necessary cookies: needed for the site and its forms to work and to keep your session secure. These cannot be switched off.
  • Functional cookies: remember small preferences, such as dismissing a seasonal notice, so it does not keep reappearing.

If we ever add analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.

Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings, and set your browser to warn you before a cookie is stored. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site, such as the quote form, from working properly.
